Nonantola. Its fame is linked to the monastery requested by Anselm, brother-in-law of Aistulf, king of the Langobards, who in 752 built a Benedictine monastery. The archives of the abbey are one of Europe’s most important for the medieval period.

Maranello. A real land of legend, famous in particular for the Ferrari Gallery that includes cars, pictures and trophies that wrote the history of the prestigious brand.

Bazzano. Among the smallest of Emilia’s towns, this charming centre at the foot of the Bologna hills is dominated by the majestic Rocca dei Bentivoglio. Because of its diverse enogastronomic specialities and its scenic wonders, it has been designated as a Cittaslow town and a City of art.
